Hakkımızda Debby Watt

Debby's journey began in Chicago and later took her to Washington State where she began her vocal studies at Western Washington State University. After two years she moved to California; joining several music groups that toured across the lower 48 and Alaska, Canada and Western Europe. For the next 25 years, she worked as a vocal performer, choral director, studio musician and teacher to children with special needs. In 2007 Debby graduated Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts in vocal jazz and improvisational studies. Currently, she is a MFA-IA candidate (2009) studying creativity & improvisational music through Goddard College. The freedom of Jazz is a timely addition to an already accomplished sound, resulting in a depth and a fun spontaneity in Debby's vocal work. While continuing to perform with many of Seattle's most creative artists her intuitive skills are flourishing. Performances contain both "pre-fab" and "spontaneous" compostitions, humorous and/or bitter sweet; drawing from a lifetime of melodic wealth, promising a throughly entertaining evening. Dakota Darkhorse	28 Haz 2009 19:09 long time no talk, whats new? me and you need to seriously work on our collabs at some point this year, probably in the fall, we can probably do enough to put out an entire CD, and i'll most definitely be in the seattle area within the next year to visit so we'll have to meet up and all that good stuff, keep in touch and cant wait to work with you some more and finish the goodbye guardian angel track as well as make some new ones : )

Definitely- I just need to get through this next two weeks of work- I set a pretty heavy goal to not only bring the music in line with my artist's statement, but to sort of better define the drawings I've been doing with painting also- not to mention a buttload of writing. We'll have to talk when you're in Portland and/or by telephone (that is if I can still pay for phone service!) G

But yeah, I think I'm just happy that I have a DATE for what I have always wanted to do; I mean, remember my 17 birthday that I spent at your house when my mom told me that I couldn't go to croatia for the year??
