SoulTalk Host and Producer Deb Hinds recently launched her new website, PlanetSoul.com -- a global soul community website that promotes independent soul music.
This ambitious and impressive new site includes:

- the popular SoulTalk streaming audio artist interview show
- monthly profiles of independent producers, musicians, club/mix djs, and writer/poets

As the host and producer of the popular SoulTalk artist interview show and podcast and the visionary behind PlanetSoul.com, Deb Hinds is highly regarded among both artists and listeners as a champion and promoter of independent soul music.
Since starting the SoulTalk show in 2005, Deb's opportunities and exposure in the soul music industry continue to grow.
Here are a few of her recent accomplishments:
- featured as an on-air guest on Michael Baisden's syndicated radio show, "The B-Side," (March, 2006)
- served as a panelist (New Media and Radio/Club DJ panels) and moderator (Artist panel) at the First Annual International Soul Music Summit in Atlanta, Georgia (August 2006)

- featured on-air soul music correspondent for BBC Radio's 3 Counties Urban Parlay show and Solar Radio's The Juice
- host of weekly PlanetSoul radio show on WMNF 88.5 FM (Tampa, Florida)
Deb is an experienced writer and project manager in a variety
of fields, including entertainment, corporate communications, and technology. Her professional background includes publicity writing and website management for D'wayne Wiggins (of the group, Tony, Toni, Toné), corporate communications, and website training for a large
software company, and employee benefits and investment communications for a consulting firm.
As a freelance journalist, she's interviewed several notable artists and
entertainers over the years; including Singer/Actress Queen Latifah,
Writer/Producer Yvette Lee Bowser, Singer/Actress Lauryn Hill, Singer/Actor
Jamie Foxx, and Comedienne Wanda Sykes. Deborah graduated from Santa Clara
University with a degree in Communication-Print Journalism.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Deb currently lives in Tampa,
Florida with her husband and two young children.
