'CASTE SYSTEM' is based on Mahatma Gandhi's favourite hymn, 'Vaishnav Jana', the immortal composition of 15th century Gujarati poet, NARSI MEHTA. Mahatma Gandhi was famously opposed to the Caste system and campaigned for equality & freedom for all. The lyrics emphasise the virtues of the Vaishnav code of life, a Vaishnav being a person with the qualities of an ideal human being.

'FLIP THE SKRIPT' produced by PRITHPAL SIRJEET & NIRAJ CHAG, also features talented rapper, ‘JC001’. The translation of the ancient Sanskrit prayer is:
You alone are my mother and my father,
You alone are my friend and my beloved companion,
You alone are my knowledge and my wealth,
You alone are everything for me.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'JAUMAY TO PE BALIHAAR' is based on an original bandish in Rag Bhairavi composed by PANDIT AJOY CHAKRABARTY (Geetinandan, book 1). Producer Prithpal Sirjeet, provides a contrast to the feel of peace & devotion, by adding heavy beats to the baseline. The translation is: 'I offer myself unto thee oh Lord, I have come to your divine palace for worship and prayer. Whatever is mine is thine, without thee, there is no one to help me, your kindness is boundless'.

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
