**DEBORAH'S - Being an artist I soak up influences from everyone I meet & every place I go . Once in a while my dreams even provide inspiration.
To put a name on a few of the more well known ones ; Janis Joplin , Led Zeppelin, Bonnie Raitt , Rush , Humble Pie , BBKing , Ann Wilson , John Lennon & Joan Baez ( in a political way ), Robert Johnson , Muddy Waters , Buddy Guy, Paul Rodgers , Big Mama Thornton, Sister Rosetta Tharpe , Richard " Dick " Longale , Eric Sardinas & Joe Bonamassa.

" The DEBORAH MAGONE BAND " came together in late July 2007. They blend rock power chords with raw blues emotion , & lyrics often fun , sometimes socially enlightening . A vocal powerhouse slinging a wine colored LesPaul Standard through a Marshall half stack, DEBORAH evolved as a child of the 60's . A decade of war , activism , love , & the best & most meaningful rock music & musicians of the century.
Feeling the pain of war in the 60's , ( & now again in 2009 ) DEBORAH has been combining political activism with singing the blues of Janis Joplin , Muddy Waters & Robert Johnson , since she was a kid, learning to accompany herself on the guitar at age 11 . As her playing advanced, the lyrics & music of Rush & the rock blues of Led Zeppelin & Humble Pie seemed to have a power & volume that really ignited the masses & her love for music & raw emotion. Her first rock band was named " WIRED " in the late 70's when she was just legal . Wired graced side one , cut one of WCMF
( Rochester, NY ) rock radio's , very first "HomeGrown Album " .
In Los Angeles DEBORAH had the pleasure of working with Grammy Artist Janice Johnson accompanying her on her first solo project on Capitol Records "Another Taste of Honey" among other well known musicians. Before returning to Rochester she was a regular performer for the "HOUSE OF BLUES " in Anaheim on the Disney lot .
Her first cd " BLUES , BOOGIE & MORE....." was awarded
" BEST BLUES CD of 2004 " by local independent radio station WDYN in Rochester , NY. And a cut from that cd "HABIT WITH YOU " named "most requested song " by listeners . SEE DEBORAHMAGONE.COM FOR A VIDEO OF THAT TUNE .
Another cut "ONE LOVE " written by DEBORAH & friend FRANK LEVINE was placed in an independent R.J. THOMAS film called
"Learning to Surf ".

DAVE FERGUSON is an Ibanez bass player with a mission . A fan of Rush, Geddy Lee & a child of a musical family , inspired by his twin brother, he plays the 6 string bass and firmly holds down the "way down low " on the bottom end .
All members despite their age difference have been influenced by the best in the business . The planets have aligned and brought together a group that rocks & enjoys what they do & it shows with one mission in mind , to make you FEEL somethin' POWERFUL ! !
