About Deborah Thacker

Well, let's see.... I've been singing since I can remember, started performing in my teens and really got focused on writing in the last few years. I'm a solo artist based in the Bay Area, northern California. I also perform with Women With Strings Attached and Rumours: The Legend of Fleetwood Mac. I sing and play for weddings, private events, and festivals. I like to call the mesh of songs I perform "musical comfort food"- a blend of pop, folk and jazz, and all the favorites. Stuff that lifts you up, quiets you down and makes you feel happy. Back in '02 I put out my first cd of originals, and a another cd the following year of some of my favorite cover tunes. I've also donee music for videos, computer based trainings and cell phone games. Creating music is one of the most fun things to do on the planet : ) I hope you enjoy the music and will become a friend. Peace

Their hits included "Jimmy Mack", <br /> "Heatwave", "Nowhere to run" and of course "Dancing in the Streets". <br />I'll be playing bass for her this week Tuesday thru Sunday at the Rrazz Room - 222 Mason St at the Niko Hotel in SF. <br />Nice way to spend a week!
