My passion is writing, at which I
have been moderately successful so far. I have one published
novel,
with several others waiting in the wings or
in the
works. I also have a series of
short
stories under my belt, and as a one-time staff writer for the online version
of Ambermont Magazine I wrote an assorted collection of
articles.
I prefer solitary pursuits. I am a
voracious reader (view
my current stack), I enjoy
computer solitaire (as
well as solitaire played with a real deck of cards), long walks in the rain with
my dog, experimental cooking, and of course, writing the hours away in the quiet
confines of my plant-filled office.
I was born in Connecticut, attended
Earl Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada, and wound up living in a variety
of places over the years: Arizona (Tucson), California (Danville), Idaho
(Pocatello), Texas (Newgulf), Utah (Bountiful), and Washington (Spokane).
I currently live with my
black-Lab-mix canine
Rainee Gabriella, and with a demonic feline of unknown origins named
Kiki Alexandra.
I can also be found at other places
on the web: my web site,
my web log
Irish Eyes, and my "cooking" journal
Appetizing Muse.
