Debrah Jade

Debrah Jade (18) always loved music, so one day she decided to put some videos of herself on Youtube. The rest is history because in a short time she got thousands of views, good comments and a lot of attention.

Debrah Jade was born in the Netherlands on February 7, 1991. She has a Dutch father and a Indonesian/Moluccan mother. Debrah had a lot of music influences from her family when she was growing up. That’s why she was playing piano when she was only seven years old. When she was ten she started taking dance lessons. At the same time she also started to perform with the showteam of N-Joy Dance Company. In 2006 she started taking singing lessons and she is performing ever since.

Debrah’s mother signed her up for the X-Factor but later on Debrah changed her mind after seeing the terms and audition papers. She decided to do it her own way because she was sure that with the help from family and friends she could make it.

So she posted a couple videos of herself singing on Youtube. In no matter of time she got a lot of positive comments from different scouts, managers and producers. This way Debrah came in contact with her manager Niels Walboomers from Walboomers Music in Amsterdam.

After a meeting with Niels Walboomers Debrah went in the studio the same day and did her first studio session with the producers Tearce & Crown (Walboomers). They are well known for their productions they did for the biggest urban acts of Netherlands. Debrah also went to Sweden to work with the producers duo Macho Psycho who also worked with Pink, Joss Stone, BackStreet Boys and Ilse De Lange. Nowadays Debrah follows the Popacademy in Utrecht, developing her music skills and creating her own style. She’s also getting al lot of performing experience.

Debrah Jade stands in front of the new generation female singers. She is a super talent with a lot of potential. It’s only a matter of time that she’s going to make a mark in the music industry.
