Né le 20 janvier de l'année 1983 , aux Abymes en Guadeloupe, Mikael Billy alias Miki grandit sous les influences tropicales de toutes les musiques de l archipel et delivre un message mixte inspiré de ces experiences diverses .Apres avoir rencontré le Gang Jah Cultcha Crew (Poshan,Vertex,Haya,Kaya,Karma) dans les annees 90, il commence a enregistrer des titres ragga et hip hop ce qui sera le debut d'une longue histoire d amour avec la musique. Continuant parallèlement ses études ,il atterrit a Basse Terre l'année de son bac sous sur le nom de KaYA il continue son chemin avec des influences locales comme TiWONY, NoCLAN,et jamaicaines comme Sizzla,Capelton,Buju bANTON ; Ecrivant par pur loisir il chante , fait des freestyles, des radios, des petites scenes pour le plaisir et continue a se forger son identite musicale. Apres l'obtention de son diplome il se dirige vers la metropole afin d'elargir son patrimoine et de continuer ses études et il choisit la ville de Montpellier dans le sud de la France pour son climat ensoleillé et son affluence d étudiants antillais, Sur place il rejoint diverses connaissances dont Fead-J et Changlee du Ghost Project, MoodyMike compositeur ,et des Dj comme Big Jay qui lui permettront de vivre la passion qui l'habite. Apres avoir monté un petit home studio modeste, il commence à enregistrer ses propres titres et a diffuser des sons sur le net dans le milieu underground. Les mois defilent et des rencontres diverses vont encore modifier ses aspirations musicales,parmi toutes celles-ci ,Gandhi puis Galak,Legisla,Larsen et Wolf vont lui faire integrer le collectif appelé JahCleanVybz composé de dj locaux tous residant a Montpellier. Le JAHCLEANVYBZ crew underground deverse un message en France qui traverse l atlantique et atterrit aux Antilles,composé de dj tous differents il attire l'intérêt du public et commence à se faire connaitre sur l'hexagone.Ceci donne suite à des prestations du groupe dans des grandes villes de France comme Paris, Toulouse, Grenoble, Bordeaux et de passer dans des emissions radios sur Mediatropical et sur des web radio qui favorisent le buzz du groupe et de chaque artiste . Apres ce parcours atypique ,Miki sort son premier projet une mixtape intitulée "Mi on Ti Difé" avec l aide de Dj Galak et de son collectif. Un clip vidéo acompagne la mixtape,et tt ceci reste un travail underground realisé par des passionnés avec les leurs propres moyens. Entre son choix profesionnel de bts audiovisuel et la musique tout se rassemble et se ressemble, il ameliore son home studio petit a petit, et enregistre ses propres sons et ceux de beaucoup d autres artistes, des propositions de compiles et de mixtape le font apparaitre sur le Red Moon Panic, Aspic Next Level, Détérminés, et sur plusieurs mixtapes internet et underground. Ce qui nous amene a son dernier opus, un street cd nomme "Débrouya Pa Péché" un melange de toutes ses influences hip hop, crunk, reggae, dance hall avec des featuring inattendus dont le premier single en collaboration Chienlari sur le titre "MAKE MONEY" suivi du clip diffusé sur les chaines locales et regionales de Guadeloupe .L'apparition logique de Legisla, sur le titre "Lè ou enfermé" ainsi que celle Jahitien chanteur RNB caraibéen donne une couleur inédite a ce projet. Notons également l'apparition de Caplelton et Chico qui introduisent et concluent ce projet écletique. Artiste passionne avec un timbre particulier, Miki continue son travail musical chaque jour que dieu fait pour un public varié comme sa musique...
