Julian Sienzant

About me:

At only 21 years of age and completely self-taught, Julian Sienzant is just beginning what appears to be a long and fruitful career in photography. Though too young to be pigeon-holed into a philosophical ideology or aesthetic style, Sienzant’s work nonetheless exhibits distinct personal characteristics: his love for high-pitched color; his attraction to pristine ‘everything in focus’ clarity; his fascination for the visual transcendence of light; his interest in capturing isolated spaces “as is” in various states of decay and his affection for female portraiture. Based in Bethlehem, PA, Sienzant’s photographs have been shown at The Hub, Goggleworks, and at Timezones galleries. In August 2008, his piece entitled “Bethlehem Steel (Transformed)” won first place out of 600 entries in the photo contest “Life in the Lehigh Valley” and the January 2009 issue of Lehigh Valley Style magazine featured his work in a two-page spread.
