DECAL Productions started as a collective of musicians and music lovers in September of 2003 at the former Subculture Skatepark that was located in unincorporated northwest Elgin. Since we started doing weekly shows (at times up to 4 shows at week) we have literally worked with hundreds of bands from around the globe. We have also worked with many bands as they went from popular locals or unknown touring bands to national touring bands (The Academy Is,Aiden,As Cities Burn,As I Lay Dying,Chiodos,June, The Junior Varsity, The Matches and many more). When Subculture Skatepark closed down in the spring of 2004 we worked hard to continue bringing great music to the Elgin and surrounding areas.
Today we do weekly shows at 4 venues: Clearwater Theater in West Dundee, Penny Road Pub in Barrington, Just For Fun Roller Rink in McHenry, and once a month at the Metro in Chicago. Please support your local music scene!

Don't you hate it when lame ass Rock bands from Chicago, whom you foolishly befriended months ago, randomly appear in comment form to invite you out to their inane shows as if they believe you're gullible enough (you know gullible isn't in the dictionary, right?!) and/or lacking in a social life to actually come hang? Me too. Good thing we're not much of a band or this would be awkward! Awkward like the first dance between two hormone raging teens going through puberty, haha! Alas, it's us, Oui Si Only You, in our most impersonal social networking form. Sorry to get you all excited to read your new comment only to be disappointed like a jilted lover on prom night. It's not all bad, at least we didn't do one of those weird, "Do you like me?" comments, right? I don't think our fragile hearts could have taken the answer to that one! Any who, we're rocking (I know, debatable right, but whether it's master debatable remains the ultimate conundrum!) our last few shows for the year out at a few splendid, unknown little Chicago establishments called Double Door (1572 N. Milwaukee Ave; 21+) on Wed. Nov. 18th at 8pm and Reggie's Rock Club (2109 S. State St.; 17+) on Sat. Nov. 28th at 7pm. We could all perish happily . . . if that's possible . . . knowing you came out and mocked our uninspired /downright ignorant brand of music along with our A.D.D. riddled stage energy. Peace face.
