WHAT WE RECORD: Traditionally this studio is best suited for rock bands, which consists of the larger portion of our clientele, but we also deal with a broad variety of artists ranging anywhere from rap to folk.
WHAT WE RECORD WITH: We record with ProTools!
Here's some of the highlights of our equipment. Digidesign Control 24 mixing board, Ampeg SVT Classic, EMU E5000 Sampler, Antares Auto Tune, Amplitube Amp Modeler for access to dozens of new and vintage physical amp models, Audio Technica 3035 Vocal Condenser Microphone, Rode NT5 Stereo Condenser Microphones, AKG D112 mic, Focusrite Preamps, Alesis MKII monitors.
THE SONGS: Sampled here are a few songs recorded in the studio.
"Isaac, Why Do You Hate Me?" - Hello Hawk Recorded and mixed in January, 2009. "Won't You Come" - The Wilderness (Featuring John Johnson of Vroom) Taken from the album I Am the Song of the Drunkards, a record that highlights the stylistic versatility of Decapolis Labs as well as the wide variety of emulated sounds and modeled guitar amps available. "A New Place to Call Home" - Activist! Recorded and mixed over the course of 2 days, "A New Place to Call Home" was produced using the studio's amp modeling program. No real, physical amps were used at all. "Deathtrap" - Way Down East From the album Summon the Sea Hag, this song was recorded (mostly) live to maintain the band's live energy and was later mixed to a more polished and professional studio-style sound. "Monsters" - Divebomber (Featuring Conrad of Ghoti Hook/Decapolis) This song, featured on the band's Appetite for Construction EP, features the use of our EMU 5000 sampler to emulate various orchestra-type instruments. It also showcases the strength of well-produced female rock vocals, which can often be trickier than male rock vocals.

Dear Mr. Thomas,
I thought you hated MySpace? I'm very disappointed in you. Anyway, good to see you're doing something worthwhile with yourself after college. Hope everything is swell with the band and if you see any Light Bright signs that look like the Moonanites, stay AWAY! I heard they're bombs... THE END
