He held the entity in his large hands, its beaming light animating as it transferred ownership, "Take this rhythm! Make it yours and spread the love", their guest continued, "Play like a child in the sun, play like you won't be outdone, play ... forever!";
Those words stuck with the newly appointed keepers of the funk, "play forever". The two drifted through the galaxy, bouncing from star to star, searching for the one world that could be home to their life's endeavor. Then finally, after centuries of searching, they found it. Earth. Earth and its new love child, Brockport Rehearsal Studios.
