We offer this service to all our customers. So, use our rehearsal rooms, and we will add you to the list of bands who are afforded the opportunity to use our Live Venue room, The Shoe String Venue. A live recording is offered, and no other studio is offering this fantastic resource.

...pro drummer/vocalist/engineer...Bin around for many years in top flight bands all over the place. Knows most of the in's & out's and then some. Now concentrating on DECIBELS STUDIOS. Still playing in his own band and still loves just doing it...willing and able to help in many fields of life. Also known as THE MASTER.... Runs the whole show with a great team of hard working people behind him. What a F------ liberty!!!! GRRR. JU-JU...The new member of the team. Well experienced on the old axe, bin about and gained some serious lessons in life..very trusting and pleasant guy to know. This man would give you his last pound if he had one that is, but there's more to life than money with Ju. He is also known as THE DONKEY WHISPERER. Ask him to explain!! Oh and bring your alarm clock....LOL.. Then there are the two 'owners' of the above mentioned chaps... JILL & CAROLINE... without these very understanding partners, DECIBELS STUDIOS would not be possible.. They really are stars.
DECIBELS STUDIOS have recorded some great bands and artists in the none too distant past. But due to circumstances we had to move to a new site. Then just as things were looking good, the Decibels partnership was cut in half. However one half continued to struggle on!!! Hard isn't a strong enough word to describe what it was to carry on, but when push comes to shove and when your back is against the wall, then there's only one way to go! So now Decibels Studio's are now on the way to being up there with the best. Not only do we have large rehearsal rooms with decent and reliable gear, but a LIVE RECORDING VENUE ROOM> The room can house 120 people. It has a stage area, a full 7K p.a. rig, lighting and monitoring, all multi-cored down to a 24 channel desk with an engineer to get you that professional sound to please your audience and also to give you a live recording of your performance too. This means you get the true sound of your performance, straight from the desk. This is what the recording companies want to hear, not the fact that you've paid hundreds or even thousands of pounds to get some clever engineer with all the advanced technology of computer programs, to give you sounds and performances that even the top pro's can't or couldn't emulate, let alone some bands or artists just setting out. There are no restrictions as to who can come and perform and record in the live venue room, called "THE FRIDAY NIGHT CLUB" for (U.S.B)un-signed bands, and artists alike...EXCEPT, we offer the chance of performing in the live room to the bands and artists that rehearse at Decibels Studios first. So if you would like to come and get yourselves recorded in-front of your live audience, then contact Decibels Studios and we can make it happen.
OUR REHEARSAL STUDIOS > We have gone to great lengths to make Decibels Studios THE place to rehearse. The rooms are larger that the average size studio by a long way, they are clean and refreshing to be in, and designed for you to enjoy being in there for your duration. The gear is first class and reliable, with great sounding p.a's. There are drinks and snacks available.... Tea and coffee is free for rehearsing bands/artists. Car parking is free and safe (main road access). Friendly helpful staff.... Open 24 hours if required....And one last important thing.... WE ARE NOT EXPENSIVE!!!! We want you to come and see for yourselves so for the first 20 NEW BANDS/ARTIST THAT CALL, WE WILL GIVE YOU YOUR FIRST HOUR FREE..... All you have to do is make the call and book a rehearsal. This will also put you on the FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE LIST.... We Hope to see you and your friends at Decibels studios in the very near future.... SHOE STRING VENUE ROOM NOW OPEN:
Over the past few months, we have booked some excellent bands for our new venue room. Its been a busy time, and we are booking up bands well into November at this moment in time. Entrance price is only £3, and the beer is ONLY £1.00.... YES, you did read that correctly, we don't want to rip any one off, we want you to ENJOY your night, for a reasonable cost.
We will be advertising the upcoming gigs, here on this site, so keep checking regularly, we have had some OUTSTANDING bands at this venue.
For your money, you get up to 3 bands, thats right 3 bands playing, and there is also a disco available.

Bands playing at the venue are offered a LIVE recording, straight from the desk. The sounds we get are the sounds you play, unless you really do want the whole shibang. But why pay for something that's not really needed at this stage..Yes we can produce and record and give you a broadcast quality disc, but advice from Decibels Studios will save you money to start with.We are here to help you in your quest, not to rip you off before you get past the first stages.. We would be more than glad to do you a professionally recorded disk, when your ready and able to justify the cost.. DON'T GET SUCKED IN BY WHAT OTHERS HAVE DONE, How many discs are lying on record producers desks and never get listened to...? THOUSANDS. How much money have people paid for that to happen...? THOUSANDS MORE!! Now how much does all this mean to you?.. If it's gonna happen, it will, and Decibels Studio will help you all the way!!!

HEY BANDS!! wana play a gig thats professionally run with a sound that wouldnt upset Led Zep...THEN PLAY ERE. This is a venue that has big potential,just the size you want,the sound thats balanced and can easily fullfill all areas a band needs,very impressed by the care and attention that this venue provides,they know wot sound needs to be heard and u dont just feel like a number. We will defo be playing here again,,£1 a beer DEFO.when the attendance crowd reaches full potential this will be a great venue..keep up the good work Bob and Co...brill
Thanks for having us play. Was a good night and we did enjoy it which is the main thing. It's true we do need more experience but like I say we enjoyed it and we do need to expand our repetoire so we wont be gigging for a while! :D thanks again guys, it was a real pleasure!!

hi. many thanks for the return comment! we've already started kicking the word around for the next gig there so would be great to hear if you've got any more gigs need filling! We've got a rehearsal place but will most likely make an appearance at some point in the future!
