Decision Trance-
Newport, Kentucky's Decision Trance offers up a slab of alt rock pop energy that cannot be denied. Alive-
"Music makes me feel alive," says band member Danny Baker. "One can experience a full spectrum of emotions through music." Baker believes music is a stimulus to help humans become more in touch with their hearts and thus find growth (and great music to boot). "Music makes me feel compassion, love, optimism and pain. It makes me feel secure. Music is the best friend you can ever have."
Fulfillment of Desire-
The sublimity that is music is, says Baker, the fruition of human desire manifest. Music satifies not just the body, but the soul. Especially fulfilling is the music of Decision Trance, which never fails to leave the rock fan sated and happy (and ready to rock some more). "Music is the most cherished desire in our hearts, though it is up to us to find and discover it." Music is the communication of the subconscious, our most true selves, offers Baker, saying that "sometimes our greatest works are already written in our subconscious and when they surface they become sacred and special."
The Artist at Work-
The fan is all-important, says Baker. "Every gig is a big gig. Whether you are performing for ten people or 10,000 people, you must put in 1,000 percent into it." Bakers's previous band showcased a plethora of venues in Cincinnati. Now, in his solo venture, he is writing and recording new material for fans, with touring set for the near future. Decision Trance is currently working with A&R Select, the leading indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
