After noticing how the British music scene has swung very much in favour of the twangy indy-rock clones such as Baby Shambles, the Kooks and the Kaiser Chiefs (to name just 3 of the hundreds being spewed out by record companies), and that the American scene continues to push generic moaning 'rock' bands such as My Chemical Romance (enough said), five young men from the Lake District have took it upon themselves to set things right.
The band comprises of: Matty Issues; the bands front man. Jamie; lead guitar. Rob 'Riffs' Green; rhythm guitar.
Andrew 'Eightbar' Gregg; the bassist. Chris the Destroyer; the ever intoxicated drummer.
The boys want to bring back the days of the solo, the riff, a meaningful bass line, huge drum beats... and a singer with some balls!!
Very Grrrr guys! Congrats on the Kerrang nomination! If you can sort the songs so they can be added as someone's profile page song I'll stick one up - oh behave! Music's developing nicely - keep up the fab work and keep pushing yourselves. Live, love and be groovy!
