Davis was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1975 and graduated in Law in 1999. He soon discovered that law was not enough to hold him from his artistic instincts.
His first contact with electronic music happened in the first night clubs of São Paulo. At that time, the scene was represented by the 80’s music trends, specially house music.
The exposure to that music started his interest in becoming a DJ. He then began to learn the techniques of mixing and choosing the right songs, studied the history of his favorite producers, beginning to build his profile as a DJ since 2001. Nowadays, with his mature style marked by house music, one of his basic principles is to play music that gets off the beaten path. Being always a strong name when it comes to new trends and rich grooves, Davis keeps up with his evergrowing crowd of music lovers.
His aim with his music is to take a part of his life style and culture to the dancefloor, using underground references to create the ideal language, blending musical elements of, disco, deep house, jazz, funk and soul, spicing up original grooves and beats, revealing new essences.
Davis is will be definately a name to watch. Considered one of today’s hot Producers and DJs in Brazil, DJ resident at D-Edge (www.d-edge.com.br), he has mastered his unique style and leads the dancefloor in a swift and highly elaborate way. His DJ set brings influences of various styles as nu-house, nu-disco and tech house.
It is as unique as you can imagine, always sexy and hypnotic, and with a special touch for the basslines that never let anyone stand still.
