This is a video i made for a mash-up mix i made called Party Smash...there is still more that needed to be done to this video before my computer crashed...but what's done is pretty good...i would'a liked to have changed the holla back girl montage, but what can you do? if you have questions, read the write-up tagged to the video:

this is a video that i've been editing off and on for the past year or so for a mash up mix i made called party smash. i wasn't sure the direction i wanted to go when i started this.. originally, it was just to learn premier, but when i started getting into it, i just kept figuring out new edits and the way the program worked, everything creatively was working out. just using the edited clips of myself, i pretty much had the entire 20 minute video done but thought it needed more plus felt it was a little overkill just showing me geek out on a keyboard, so i started adding the music vid clips, twerked a grip of effects over it and this is the (allmost) final copy... i chopped and mixed the audio in ableton live and then went back and filmed myself and overdubbed the video to the corresponding steps i took when i originally made the audio loops/samples etc...for the video i used the video setting on my casio exilim camera and shot the entire set 3-5 different times with the camera being placed in different positions each time. i then used adobe premier to edit the camera footage and video clips and add post-production. what you see here is only about 80% done with some edits that still needed to be cleaned up... and the last five minutes of the mix were deleted because the footage was still being layed out...the motherboard on the computer running this project crashed and this is the point i was at when i saved and converted it to a .mov... i've been really torn about putting this out cause it's not 100% but what's done is pretty good and visually on-point (minus a couple hic-ups here and there). i figure something is better than NOTHING, eh? i had a blast filming it and if you know me then you know...this is me :) enjoy my video for the mix party smash.
