In 1999 Will Freeman, with a mind for both the microcosmic and bogglingly enormous, was reborn onto The World's stage as DJ Freshstep. This entity has held residencies in Chicago, Saint Louis, Tokyo, Minneapolis, San Francisco and Bangkok, amongst gigs in other far flung places such as your face. His fusion of House, Soul, Disco, Electro, Italo, and early eighties Hip Hop was catalyzed as a kid in the back seat of Dad's car. While in a child's planning stages for Nasa engineering and Double Dare invitation, he was forced to listen to and dissect a whole generation of Disco and R&B B sides, esoteric even for the time. His plan is to weave all the static out there into grassroots, connect one blade to the next, and improve the quality of dance music worldwide.
