/////...Born and raised in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden in 1975 Joel Alter started his music career playing the violin at the age of 10. Ever since music has been an essential part of his life. Early inspirations were bands like Depeche Mode, Jean-Michel Jarre and Front 242 which lead him to leave classical music for electronic. Joel has played live with jazz musicians and composed music for the Swedish National Theater. He is in no way limited of being a techno artist. Where different artforms meet, this is precisely where he sees himself. Joel lives & works nowadays in Berlin.

Jag vet inte, jag försöker hitta min stil. Det är inte så lätt, senast nu tycker jag att jag fick till en bra låt, men har problem att få till något igen, ofta så gör jag musik efter plugg och jobb. Då är jag så trött att jag inte orkar göra arrangemanget, utan finner att jag bara gör en loop, arrangemanget är lite tråkigt tycker jag + att om jag bara lägger ut någonting så blir det inte så bra. Jag vet fortfarande inte riktigt hur jag ska angripa själva byggandet. Har du hört den senaste? Tycker du att den är bra? Den distar lite, men jag har bara överdrivit lite vid masteringen för att få ut så mycket volym som möjligt för webben. SÅ att de låter så högt som möjligt. Kram Andrée
