Behold the mighty Mossy! Not only is he big in size but also in talent. This is a sure to be rising star in the very near future. Why? Well, his debut release EP - “Here I Am” - on his mother label Pacemaker Digital, has reached the Top 3 on the prestigious Juno Minimal House sales chart in 2008. Can you start any bigger than this? And the future looks ever so bright with top DJs from Laurent Garnier and Tiesto, to ATB, charting and giving the highest appraisal for his music. Since then he has put out more than 10 high profile releases on Pacemaker Digital, as well as many others,on labels like Piston Recordings, Tanira, AU, and remixes for names like The Cube, and Plato aka Mijk Van Dijk. Also he had licensing’s for several compilations like the acclaimed “Balearic Lounge Map” as well as ATB’s worldwide famous “The DJ” series Vol 5. It all started not long ago – Mossy is just 20 (yeah, we can hear the “wow!”) - and has been keen on music ever since he accompanied his father, a guitarist, on the road. In his early teens he got his first turntables and (lousy) mixer and, business as usual, he became a true DJ. In 2007 he came to Lisbon from his hometown Abrantes in Portugal, to study audio and won his first DJ award on the Optimus Lab Tour. As there are guys with all the luck the prize was a Production course in the best place in town – Dancefloor DJ Academy in Lisbon – where Mossy had the chance to show his talent and was immediately invited to become part of the roster on the Dancefloor Artists agency and the then, recently launched, Pacemaker Digital label.
