Philippa . . .who is and has always been a protagonist in the world of underground music . The daughter of a music teacher, with a degree in the study of Religion and a post graduate Diploma in Audio Engineering, Philippa is arguably New Zealand's longest standing and highest profile female DJ; and she's a staunch advocate of underground House music - music soaked in soul, flavour, syncopated beats, and jazz-minded goodness. Philippa as a professional DJ is a fiery performer, effortlessly controlling nightclub dancefloors up and down New Zealand where her skills and taste are in hot demand. She has also been closely associated with George FM for a long time now.... . And under the promotions name Soul Productions throws some big parties - namely the Chicago Disco events, as well as looking after the odd 'international artist' here and there e.g Heather, James Curd etc...
