I was born and raised around Chicago most of my life. I recently left my consulting job of 2 and half years to take a break from the corporate world, and to pursue my interests in music.
Music has been a big part of my life. I was exposed to music at an early age, growing up to funk/jazz/disco albums during my childhood, listening to 90's chicago house and underground hip-hop on the radio throughout jr. high, playing the alto/tenor/baritone saxophones in the school band, and pursuing DJing and music production on the side since high school.
I love going to the record store and spending hours digging for rare classics on vinyl; specifically funk, jazz, soul, disco, world music, 70's rock, underground house and hip-hop.
Besides music, I enjoy indie flicks, documentaries, outdoor festivals, eating at new restaurants, exploring different neighborhoods, museums, art galleries, and anything else that broadens the mind.
