DJ Seize has endured a rise to success by rockin' turntables throughout numerous clubs and taking over the airwaves from San Diego to Los Angeles. It all started about twelve years ago. He began deejaying while in his senior year in high school. Soon after, he landed the first of many breaks which were to come his way. The mixshow director, DJ Rags, allowed him the opportunity to be a consistent guest deejay on San Diego's radio station "Z90"...
In the summer of 1996, DJ Seize moved to Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California. While at USC, he started "The Usual Suspects Show" with Busy V & Hi-Tone on the college radio station, KSCR, which he hosted and deejayed for the next four years. In 1999, DJ Seize worked with the Baka Boyz and their afternoon show on LA's "Power 106". In January of 2001, DJ Seize finally moved back home to San Diego after graduating and getting his degree from USC. Upon his return, DJ Seize secured a weekend mix slot on "Z90". By 2002, DJ Seize moved to the highly coveted nightly mix slot. He also began hosting the weekend mixshows. He was then promoted to mixing every weekday from 5pm to 6pm...
In January of 2004, he resigned from "Z90" for another big break in his career. He was hired to host the morning show on San Diego's "Blazin 98.9". During this show, he also mixed every morning on the "7 O'clock Wake Up Mix". Currently, you can hear DJ Seize mixing every weekend in Los Angeles to over 2 million listeners on "Latino 96.3 FM".
Throughout the years, DJ Seize has rocked clubs, events, and concerts in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Mexico City, Miami, San Jose, and Rosarito to name a few. His TV highlight was deejaying live on MTV for their "Spring Break TRL" show from San Diego. He has also deejayed at shows featuring Pitbull, Ludacris, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, LL Cool J, E40, Too Short, Ying Yang Twins, DJ Quik, and DMX among others. Currently, he holds numerous weekly residencies at the hottest local clubs. He brings a level of energy to these clubs that makes everyone on the dance floor sweat. This is why he is known as "The Party Rocker".
He has released numerous mixed cds including "Party Rockin" (club mixes), "Street Heat" (hip hop exclusives and freestyles), and "Live From Downtown LA" (live club mix). He is currently releasing 20 minute mini-mixes on his myspace page every Wednesday. He has also launched his own online record pool "BPMsupreme.com".
DJ Seize is now one of the hottest deejays combining both the power of radio and the club scene!
