Volt (Amir Hayek), born in Egypt in1985, had a passion for music since the age of 10. His first interest in electronic music was techno at the age of 12 and he gradually shifted his style to trance. In 1999, volt began djing by chance when a friend of him was throwing a party and had no dj. As the party went very well, Volt's interest in djing increased and decided to get his first dj equipments in 2000.
With his passion moved to trance, Volt’s taste was influenced with the music of Aly and Fila, Paul Van Dyk, ATB, and Blank and Jones. Since that time, he has played in the biggest venues all across Egypt including, Cairo, Hurghada. Alexandria, and Sharm El Sheikh, and played in the biggest gigs in Egypt. He has also played alongside respectful international DJs such as Aly and Fila (several times), as well as Menno De Jong, Misja Hesloot, Passiva and Manuel le Saux.
Volt began producing music in summer 2005. With the help of Fila in using music software such as Reason and Cubase, and taking music theory courses to help him in the composing, Volt was fascinated with producing music. After few unsigned tracks that were supported by Aly and Fila, Volt's first EP “Sensation/No limits” is already signed and will be released very soon at RealMusic Recordings.

After picking myself up off the floor from laughing so hard I decided to try & get inside this guys stoned mind & put some music to it. It's very slow & heavy with lots of sub bass & dubby FX. Let me know what U think.
