I’ve been DJing now for about 11 years, and having played everything from trance, house, hard house, electro, breaks and the odd bit of dnb; and my experience is pretty far reaching. I’ve promoted my own nights, having run a very successful night, Rhapsody, in Cheltenham; I’ve now moved on to other nights such as That Thing! I currently hold a residency for That Thing! and Hustle Up and have DJed alongside the likes of The Stanton Warriors, The Freestylers, The Scratch Perverts, Shy FX, Noisia, Pendulum, Jaguar Skills, Annie Mac, Jack Beats, A Skillz, and The Dub Pistols. I'm also in touch with most of the other nights in the South and make appearances for the likes of Breakout, The Tunnel Sessions, Rokit, Glampop, The Lock Up, Bloom Festival, FiDGET, Audio Hussy, Lab, Rinsing, Sonic Tonic and others.
My DJing reflects this mashup of influences – I’m not really one to be tied to a style or genre... how can you react to a crowd if you only bring a few similar tunes? I suppose when forced I’d say I’m a breaks DJ, but you might not think that on first impression. Breaks are my main love, but you’ll probably hear a good smattering of other things in my sets these days fidget, bassline, electro, techno, dubstep – I like to keep people on their toes and find that throwing in plenty of electro and the odd trance remix or classic keeps things bouncing nicely! My music tends to lean towards the dirty, edgy and raw end of the spectrum – anything really chunky, bass ridden, and thoroughly electronic is ideal for me.
