Deena’s songwriting has been called “direct and artful,” by the New York Times. Here are songs from Deena’s new solo album, "Somewhere in Blue," just released on Life Force Records. The CD features collaborations with producer Roger Moutenot (the result of a great trip to Nashville!) and “The Laughing Boys” (Tom Lucas & Ed Iglewski) as well as several songs co-written with lyricist David Graham.

In addition to writing, producing and recording with The Cucumbers, RockDownBaby and Over the Moon, Deena’s songs have been recorded by Jackson Browne, Valerie Carter & Jonatha Brooke (for “Songs of the Spectrum”) and commissioned for tv film, radio and live theater. Her recordings have been included in several feature film soundtracks and on NBC, HBO, MTV and DSC.
