  • Bio

Dee grew up in Jamaica and was an avid fan of Stone Love. After moving to New York and attending university where he got a BBA degree in Economics. He got into music by accident, thanks to an erupting volcano in Ecuador and the subsequent layover in Miami International airport where he met a singer in need of guidance with a movie product featuring Reggaeton. All the years of listening Stone Love turned out to be actual schooling. All the music juices started flowing and he composed some tracks in Ecuador. After finding a struggling singer in Canada and releasing Coming out by Cass Hazel (on which he dj'd a part)he decided to go solo and embarked on mixing Spanish, Jamaican, and English in some tracks. This approach is challenging but some has to to the first. This gives you the listener something unique. Dee is a producer who works on all kinds of music (except jazz and opera). Dee is a world traveler who is influenced by the sights and sounds of the places he visits and is hell bent on revolutionizing reggae and reggaeton which is stuck in a boring rut. The same tired beat is old and no one has the creativity to come up with new stuff. Well Dee is not afraid. Check out the music on Papichulo Pt. 1. The Papichulo and Joe Grine track has a hip hop beat mixed with the dancehall undertone. See if this would be a radical improvement to what you are hearing these days. Every song is based on real life and tells a story. You will not hear glorification of money and alcohol from me. DEV-SELDER MUSIC INC. producers specialize in bass so listen to my music in a club setting or with a really good sound system to appreciate what you are hearing

This approach while challenging provides better vocal dexterity and creativity. This gives you the listener something unique.
