Theatre: technical theatre is my specialty. I like straight plays mostly...and really like Eugene O'Neill!
Cars: all kinds of cars...sports cars, muscle cars...big, little...they're all good.
Driving them, working on them, looking at them...whatever.
Boats: pretty much the same as with cars...but being on, near the water...so much nicer!
Woodworking: both as a hobby and as a profession. Professionally I built scenery for theatre productions. As a hobby I build furniture and shelving for myself, my family and my friends.
I enjoy long, deep in depth discussions about life, philosophy, trying to figure it all out. Why are we here? Why do we do what we do? Why are we all the same? Why are we all different?
Music...see below.
Music
Music is one of the most important things in life...I like a wide variety of music styles; everything from rock to jazz to blues, and even some country, r&b and the occasional rap/hip-hop thing too. The most important thing about music to me is not the style or genre, but whether or not it speaks to me--to my soul. Favoites include: SRV, Social Distortion, Metallica, TSOL, James Carter, Keb Mo, Bauhaus, Smithereens, Ramones, ZZ Hill, Rush, Sisters of Mercy, New Order, NIN, John Hiatt, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Godsmack, etc...
Movies
Some favorites are:
American Beauty--
Die Hard--
Shawshank Redemption--
Better Off Dead--
Heaven Can Wait--
The River's Edge--
Angelheart--
deLovely--
Usual Suspects--
Gone Baby, Gone
Television
CSI, CSI-Miami, Without a Trace, Heroes, The Closer and Monk, Life, Chuck
Books
William Gibson, Stephen R. Donaldson and Carl Hiaasen are favorites...along with the old standby of Robert Heinlein.
I hope to start reading Randy Wayne White and Paulo Coelho soon as well...
I also strongly recommend a book called "Coming Home to Self" by Nancy Verrier, for anyone that is in anyway involved with adoption.
Heroes
My mom, my dad, and my grandmother (on my mom's side) are the only heroes I have ever known or had...just wonderful beautiful people.
Though theses people are not necessarily heroes, they are in the category of "if more people in the world were like ________, it would be a better place." A few of those people are: Terri Boggs Deatley, Gary "G" Crase, Michelle Burstion, et al...
About me: I am back working at the Sunrise Theatre in Ft Pierce, FL. (www.sunrisetheatre.com) I am the house carpenter. I am also the primary flyman and sometimes rigger. It's a good job, nost of the time... ;) It certainly keeps me busy during the season...

Who I'd like to meet: I am interested in meeting all kinds of people...both here in "myspace" and in reality...oh, and Jennifer Nettles and Jessica Harp. :) Oh, and I mustn't forget the sweet Karista Smith... :)

The Jets: Where Old QBs go to die. Just think, he'll be following in the footsteps of Vinnie Testicles. But no way was Ted "The Coward" Thompson going to send him to a team the Pack would have to play so that he could eat their lunch. Sigh. It's a dark day for football fans... I think I need Prozac now.
