“Book these guys and the only way you’ll get rid of them is to find them another party”
DJ Magazine
'No messing, they do exactly what it say's on the tin...they know how to drop it!'
Pete Tong (BBC Radio 1)
"With a 100% party attitude and a keen ear for exactly the right tune to devastate the dancefloor, Deepgroove consistently smash it. And when not controlling the decks themselves, their stream of tough productions lends an injection of Deepgroove party skulduggery to the sets of a strikingly wide range of others too. Who can argue with any DJs who routinely turn up with a box of fancy dress, anyway?"
Tom Kihl (DJ Magazine, Deputy Editor)
“Proving that it’s still possible for real talent to break through, the Deepgroove boys have made the noughties their own.”
Russell Deeks (iDJ, Editor)
The last two years have seen global invasion heralded by Deepgroove’s Lee Pattison and Grayson Shipley fighting off stiff competition from the likes of Serge Santiago, Demi, Sinden, The Streetlife Djs and Jamie Jones to win DJ Magazine’s coveted “Best British Breakthrough DJ” award. Consistent global touring whilst having a strong presence in all the major UK clubs saw them smashing over 90 gigs annually to a rapidly growing fanbase. 2008 has been defined by chance meeting in their hometown of Bristol with techno legend Jamie Anderson which has sparked a new studio partnership that has gone on to release with some of the world’s most influential underground techno labels.
Hooking up with Alter Ego’s Klang Elektronik imprint in 2008 they have delivered three colossal EP’s, consistently played by the good and great and leading to a signing to Sven Vath’s Cocoon imprint, due in Spring 2009. They have also been let loose on Alter Ego’s recent output, twisting and tweaking Alter Ego’s single; the quite insane “Queen Anne’s Revenge.” into a huge dancefloor moment.
Deepgroove have also returned to Darren Emerson’s Underwater stable with unstoppable rolling techno of ‘Bad Acid’, garnering support of everyone from Carl Cox to Laurent Garnier to DJ Hell to Ken Ishii to Brodinski with it’s thundering original mix and the sublime Style of Eye reinterpretation.
2008 has seen the pair take their 4 Decks:Efx show on a tour of global clubs and festivals, taking in We Love…@Space, Ibiza, Glastonbury, Gatcrasher Summer SoundSystem, Zouk, Singapore, Ministry of Sound, London, Trailer Trash, Wet Yourself, Privilege, Ibiza, Eden, Ibiza, Korea, Snowbombing, Canada, Chicago, Warsaw, Solar Festival, Holland, Bloom Festival, Mulletover, Bugged Out!, Excentric…
2009 brings a change of agency to world renowned International Talent Booking (ITB), in support of the duo’s growing DJ bookings and the new Deepgroove & Jamie Anderson LIVE show. It looks set to be a very exciting year with production already due for Sven Vath’s Cocoon label, Radio Slave’s Rekids and Alter Ego’s Klang Elektronik.

This is the next release by PERCENT RECS. It was given to the very young producers from Italy - Aumrec.
The duo's distinctive mark in this release is their eccentric sound.
They create their sound under the influence of the artists Umek, Sven Väth, Jeff Mills... and will skillfully present it to the audience in the future.
It would be difficult to determine the exact category of these artists' music.
Deep, experimental, acid-minimal and techno are just a very small part of Aumrec's sounding in this release.
They boldly introduce to us their vision of contemporary electronic dance music. Aumrec's sounding is partly modern and brave but they've put a light, interesting flavour of the good, old Detroit techno.
This release is just for you if you happen to like either Cristian Vogel, Neil Landstrumm or Pacou.
You will have the opportunity to buy PERCENT RECS 03 from Beatport, Juno, DJShop and other online stores starting from 10 November 2009.
