Well well, after Samael another band from Switzerland for me to review on IndustrializedMetal.tk. Deep Metal Mechanic brings you with the album Urban Guerilla into a war soundtrack of almost fifty minutes, which the band underlines with quotes like War is terrorism with a bigger budget.
Hello, and thanks for your time. First of all, introduce your band to the world.
Gilles (machinery) & Dave (guitars): DMM is the masterpiece of Gilles and Dave's combination of both what electro and metal should sound like. Created in 1999, we've been busy supplying soundtracks for X-treme Sport DVD and Action video games since then.
You guys met in a very strange way according to the biography. How did the two of you became friends?
Dave: Well, the grudge in between our brothers' didn't really have anything to do with us, so when I got back from the US we started hanging out, willing to collaborate on a project that seemed like a lotta fun.
Gilles: everything went smoothly from the beginning, like we were meant to work together. At every rehearsal we knew the potential was here ready to be used.
Altobelli. Was für ein Fest in Odonien am Samstag. Danke an alle, mit uns gerockt haben und sorry, an die die gemerkt haben, dass wir auf dem Mainfloor ein Problem mit einem der beiden Plattenspieler hatten. Das war nervig. Aber da sowohl Pierce als auch Ziel100 mit Laptops gespielt haben, gings ja dann. Wir freuen uns jetzt auf die erste SILBERSCHWEIN OPEN für dieses Jahr. Da wir diese am 8.8. Ja leider verschieben mussten, gibt's jetzt halt zwei Silberschwein innerhalb einer Woche. Aber wir denken dass es alleine von den DJs her - vor allem aber wegen der Brandneuen Location und dem Floor unter freiem Himmel was ganz anderes wird als vergangene Woche.
Jetzt steht endlich auch das Line-Up auf dem Silberschwein-Rockt Floor:
MARIO ANASTASIADIS (Jungsheft DJ Team) wird euch den mega-trashigen Indie Floor die Nacht beschallen.
Und auf dem MAIN Floor spielen wir geplant: IRWIN LESCHET (silberschwein) SIMON² (loonyland) MAGISTER WIGBOLD (kölncampus)
Lichsport zeichnet für die Live Visuals verantwortlich und wird die neue Location ins rechte Licht rücken.
Also... Nicht wegbleiben und sich hinterher ärgern! :-)

Was für ein hickhack. Schade, dass es mit der Open Air nicht geklappt hat, aber dafür wird die Ersatzparty am 22.08. Eben umso schöner. Aber vorher ist ja quasi sowas wie der Höhepunkt des Kölner Jahres..die c/o pop! (und komm mir hier keiner von wegen Karneval und so :-) ) Und wir dürfen im Rahmen des Festivals mal zeigen, wieso die Silberschweinparty immer so geil wird. (wir haben denen gesagt, dass es nicht an uns, sondern an euch, unseren Gästen liegt..aber nehmen natürlich trotzdem gerne das Angebot an, eine SILBERSCHWWEIN SPEZIAL IN ODONIEN zu rocken. Mit PIERCE (MBF) und ZIEL 100 (DATAPUNK) Haben wir schonmal höchst amtliche Kollegen für IRWIN LESCHET gefunden, der das letzte Mal im Mai(!) auf (s)einer Silberschwein aufgelegt hat und dementsprechend wild mit den Hufen scharrt und sich nach eigenen Aussagen höchst motiviert den Ar*** ab-freut.
Visuell packt das ganze wieder LICHTSPORT in trockene Tücher. Live Visuals der Königsklasse hat mal jemand gesagt (wir).
Auf dem SILBERSCHWEIN ROCKT Floor geben sich mal wieder TORPEDO NIPPES die Ehre. Ihr DJ-Team wird Gitaren-mässig mal wieder ein paar Kohlen nachlegen... Sehr schön.
As ist noch nicht alles - es gibt einen DRITTEN FLOOR. Den Bespielen unsere lieben Freunde von Treibstoff und dem Klicklackklub - mit einem Line Up, dass alleine schon eine dicke Abfahrt garantiert:

Es ist mal wieder soweit... Es ist Sommer und die Silberschwein Open steht vor der Tür. Wir haben wieder eine neue Location gefunden und passend zum Konzept ist es wieder ein Tennisclub, der unserer Open Air party ein zu Hause gibt. Das Ganze liegt in der Lämmerstrasse, quasi hinterm Pascha (die Lämmerstrasse geht von der Hornstrasse ab, dann die erste rechts). Es gibt zwei Floors!
