    Highlights: 2007: 4 shows with IAN PAICE (Deep Purple) on drums +++ 2008 & 2009: 5 shows with DOOGIE WHITE (ex-Rainbow) on vocals +++ 2009: Support act for FOREIGNER & SAGA +++ 2009 & 2010: 2 Shows with a Symphony Orchestra & JON LORD (ex-Deep Purple) on organ and piano Demon's Eye are creating a furore with their powerful show, bringing up memories of Deep Purple's most creative times in the seventies. In February 2007, Deep Purple's ..Ian Paice.. guested on drums on a couple of gigs in Holland, Germany and Austria. ..Ian Paice:.. "When I get the chance to play with other musicians and I don't know them, I take a chance. If they're good, it makes my job very easy. If they're not so good, it makes my job very difficult. With Demon's Eye, it's incredibly easy. These guys are really fantastic! They know exactly what they do.".. In 2008 and 2009, Demon's Eye gave five concerts with ..Doogie White.. at the microphone, the former singer of "Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow". And ..Doogie White.., too, was highly enthusiastic: "Demon's Eye sound just as Deep Purple did in the 70s. It’s incredible. I’ve never seen a better Deep Purple Tribute Band! For me, their musical quality, joy in improvising, their power and the fun which Demon's Eye get across on stage have been absolutely impressive.".. Therefore, it is hardly surprising that Demon's Eye were the support act for ..Foreigner.. and ..SAGA.. in 2009... In 2009 and 2010, Jon Lord played two very successful shows with Demon's Eye and Orchestra in Germany. Even Deep Purple bass player Roger Glover is astonished at how Demon's Eye perform and wrote the following lines to the band: "I listened to your CD 'ALIVE' and I was amazed. Your tunes sound uncannily true to the original. Well done! You have the right to be proud." There is a good reason why Demon's Eye do not call themselves a "Cover-Band" but to choose the prefix "Tribute" instead. Deep Purple's compositions leave enough room for improvisation, which the five guys of Demon's Eye use wherever they can. Demon's Eye's intention is to make each concert a unique event for the audience. The five musicians know how to enthral the audience not only with their music but also with a breathtaking stage show, and especially Mark Zyk's almost acrobatic stage show creates enthusiasm again and again.
