About Deep Sleep Empire

The fear of being stuck in the small town you grew up in haunts the dreams of those who wish to make something more out of their lives. The members of Deep Sleep Empire know of this fear, but it's not stopping them anytime soon. Tired of everybody expecting them to live normal and predictable lives, Danny, Jack, Alex, and Max of Deep Sleep Empire decided to take their obsession of music and dedicate their lives to making it.

The idea that some of Deep Sleep's biggest influences had went from playing in small clubs to filling large arenas lit a fire inside the members of the band. Changing the lives of their fans with their music is a dream that Deep Sleep Empire also plan to one day achieve.

"Our ultimate goal as a band is to affect the minds and hearts of the people the same way that bands we grew up loving affected us. The coolest part about rock music is the fact that you can give somebody the chills simply from the melody and composition of a song. Writing music that is capable of achieving this is something that we have always dreamt of," said guitarist Jack Musil.

Deep Sleep Empire focus heavily on experimenting with guitar sounds, effects and new styles. They work with a very progressive sound and try to make sure that their fans can enjoy each of their songs without being too weird to understand. Writing songs is a constant battle as they always look to outdo themselves with each new song they write. In today's music scene it seems like bands are not pushing themselves as much as they should in their writing. Deep Sleep Empire is proud to say that the songs they write are not "cookie cutter" at all. When seeing the band perform live, fans are treated to a show of high energy, creative lighting that flows with the music, and heartfelt lyrics that are sung with true passion. It has been said many times before when describing musicians who know their instruments so well that they are considered part of their body. Deep Sleep Empire not only know their instruments, but the instruments become their own members of the band each with a unique and quality sound.

The band is now looking forward to their future as they continue to write and record for their debut release. Recently making a move from Ohio to Pittsburgh, Deep Sleep Empire is ready to let the "Steel City" and the world know that their new residents have a message. The message is that they are ready to change the lives of anybody that will give their music a listen.
