Members of Meridian and Frown along with some friends are in the process of recalibrating the band. The styles and influences are widely varied: from pop to sludge, and from blues to electronic. The forthcoming record, "Comedy Of The Dead," will span the contributors' vast array of interests and influences. With the return of Heather Morgan, and the addition of Jhonny Evil and Scot Kreer, all in 2009, The Deep Water Rebellion is moving in a new, more substantial direction.
"It became apparent over the course of the last five years, that various peoples' hearts and time were not in the project - or that they had an obnoxious imp whispering in their ear. I'm still not sure which. So... I decided to clean house thoroughly on November first, 2009. This is right around the time of the old tribal New Year, so it seemed appropriate. Be one of the first of the future largest music social network!! Set the standards high and bring people to your page keeping them informed everytime you have a show, put up new songs, or anything related. It will be the number one tool for bands in the future, but we need you to help get the word out.

From what I have heard your music has a very solid sound that is perfectly matched with powerful lyrics. Do have a link, or means for me to download any of your songs?
I've gotta say, you two make music nicely. Silver is my favorite song so far. Haven't heard them all yet, but so far they're really great. Best of luck on this project!!
