About me: The Deer Head Inn, home of jazz in the Pocono Mountains for more than 50 years, is now under new management. The new owners, Denny Carrig, Bob Mancuso, Jason Wilson, and Mary Carrig, took over at the helm in October 2005. Some new and exciting changes are underway, such as restoring the Inn to its former elegant state. The Deer Head Inn’s music focus will continue to be jazz. Join us for an entertaining evening of great music, food, and ambience.
I have the Deer Head Inn in my top friends. I lent my Keith Jarrett at the Deer Head CD to one of my piano students, and now I will buy another because I never get tired of this great CD. Notice that I also have Paul and Gary from the trio in my top friends too. I was born in Summit New Jersey, and I would like to visit the Deer Head someday. I learned about it from Keith Jarrett's CD. John Wright, pianist for Cerulean Blue
I hope my words find you well. What a great festival. It had all kinds of music, people, and weather to add to the experience. You’ll be able to read my 3 page article about the event and see more of the pictures I took on the slide show I have on my profile. However, the number of photographs I have on Myspace are only the tip of the iceberg. I have all 250 plus photographs on my flicker gallery on Yahoo360. I invite you to visit the website listed below to discover a ling to it from our Blog directory section. In any case, please feel free to share your comments and reflections. You may share the material you find with anyone you wish. I look forward to hearing from you and I’ll keep a good thought for you until then.
