As far as making the music:
My influences are dang near anything I've ever heard in my life. Uh... Man this is a really hard one. Ok! off the top, its Stevie Wonder and Elton John. Which is crazy because my music sounds nothing like their's. But, getting back on the Hip-hop side of things, The Beasty Boys brought rap into my life with the hit "Sabotage" along with Will Smith's "Summertime" and anything by MC Hammer was hot. I didn't listen to rap that much until about High School. Up until then, it was 70's music and Michael Jackson all the way. I love live music and I play drums, so groups like Korn, Creed, Preal Jam and Metallica you'll hear in there if you listen really hard. And although I love Timberland and the Neptunes I don't think I've been influenced by there work.
As a vocal artist:
Ok! now this is a lot easier because I'm used to poeple telling me who I sound like from track to track. M&M, Luda, Field Mob, Afroman, The Last Mr. Bigg, Bizzy Bone, uh who else..... Trick Daddy, K. West. Man people got me plunged all over the map. I must admit, the two that have really looked up to, and will never deny that at any given point I remind people of, M&M and Bizzy Bone, I really feel that. (You know how artist today say man when I coming up I wanted to be like Who Ever.) That's how I am about them.
Sounds Like
Crap!!!! Just Kidding! What I do is POP-HOP. Its a blend of Pop and Hip-hop music. I wish there was a way I could let you hear the whole album on here. But you can feel free to go to www.Deerleggsproduction.com and pick up a copy. Everyone who has heard it liked it. Over time I will put new songs up here maybe every week or so. Plaese let me know what you think leave a message for everyone to see. I would like to use your opinion to answer this question!
Good old fashioned hip-hop seamlessly blended into a style all his own. When you hear
a Deerleggs track you just know it. Few artists have mastered the art of word bending and
sentence structure so well, that it doesn't even matter what is said. Chances are you'll be
happy with what you hear. The wit displayed in every song keeps them from ever getting old.
His work reflects the life of the average person, "I don't like writing about stuff I haven't
done, why do that when I can talk about things that I have experienced, and people are like 'hell yeah I thought I
was the only one that has done that'."-Deerleggs. To call this guy just a rapper would be like reading the same
chapter of a book and never seeing what happens. As an artist he has done Hip-hop,
Pop, R&B, Blues, and even Country, but that side of the coin is dull compared to
Deerleggs as a producer. In only a three year span he has become one of the most
sought after producer/ mixer / engineers in Alabama. He has over seen 14
projects (albums) and has worked on countless songs in different genres such as:
Hip-hop, Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, Reggae, Jazz, and Salsa. These different kinds of music
influence his work, keeping every track on his album different from any other.

I know i am late but this is what i think... come on, classic i love that one it's my favorite. I see what you mean about your voice on the other one, when you were singin slowly in the beginning. i like it because its so different but u can tell u were out of ur element, but as soon as you started back rappin fast you were in your comfront zone.
