With roots going back to the 1700's, the Deer Park Tavern as we know it today has seen remarkable transformations throughout its history. Located in Newark, Delaware, the Deer Park owes much of its success and longetivity to the community and residents of Newark. Evidence of this is in our many loyal patrons who have chosen to be part of our "Mug Club."
Sharing a home with the University of Delaware has also made the Deer Park indebted to the students who call Newark home. Countless 21st birthdays have been celebrated inside our doors, and when alumni come back to town, many choose the Deer Park as the location to reconnect with their past.
