so much clanking.
or maybe it's like a swarm of bees in your ear.
or maybe it's a lonely walk down a street without a flashlight at night.
or maybe it's making out with an old friend on the beach.
After nearly ten years of living in NYC, and playing with the band uberjerk, i moved to bellingham with my guitar in tow. I recorded "Calling Mr. Overcast" in 2006, solo.
In Bellingham, I met Peter W., who joined me on drums.
Now we play music at a variety of venues in and around Bellingham.
We recorded "I am Not Who You Thought You Were" in the Summer of '08. It is available from us at our shows, and, if you ask really nicely, through the mail.
I have harmonies that I would like to show you for your song Nature. You can say no, of course, but I feel inspired to sing "I'm...NOT a PART of their nature."
I like playing your music at work. Loudly. During lunchtime. I managed to rig my iPod to display - as the album cover for your MP3's - a pic of you performing that I took at the pre-fest last year when Carrie and I were praying before you. It makes me chuckle every time... :)
Bellingham, here I come! Tonight and tomorrow represent my first-ever musical performances back in the corner of Washington that birthed me from its loins. Hoist high the prodigal son! Hear the angel choir sing! Buy a compact disc!
Hope to see anybody and whomever there.
Tonight at the Viking Union MPR (WWU)
Tomorrow at the Green Frog
