About me: I am a 60 year old on October 9th, Native American woman, single, educated and very down to earth. I am a practicing Native person, a traditional powwow cloth and buckskin dancer. I have a variety of interests, mostly those that are not materialistic in nature. I love to feel the wind blow through my hair and the raindrops on my face. I thrive to watch the sun rise and set. The trees offer comfort to me when the days are rough going. I am a Grandmother of 4 and a Great Grandmother of three little girls, all this from the only child I had. I have been divorced a very long time and still looking for the person that can walk in the woods with me and understand the voices of the animals, trees, wind and even the rocks and hear their stories. I enjoy all kinds of music, except rap and hip hop. My favorite is Native music with the blues a second choice along with country and rock n roll. I'm not much to watch television, but do enjoy good movies, mostly action, drama, and comedy. Last January I moved to Arizona and now live in the mountains of Golden Valley. I"m working at the prison here as a substance abuse counselor. Still working on my Doctorate in Human Services with the hopes of some day giving back to the Native people through programs in substance abuse.
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to find that special person that wants more than what money could ever buy. Someone to climb mountains with, walk through the rain with, and even dance under the moon with.
