DEFCON MONKEYS is an experimental band that was formed by Mike Reardon (Floss/Drop360) and Bob Grant (White Knuckle Tight/13 Colors Of Ugly). These two musicians are out of the Boston scene and are now collaborating on new material for 2007. This past June is when it all began and over several months they have written more than 30 songs. The music takes on a wide range of different styles that blends into everything from slow rock to modern metal with a radio rock appeal. There is over 30 years of experience and hundreds of songs between both musicians. In the past they have created musical ideas which have resembled similar characteristics to their current sound. During this time they have added new influences combined with the previous traditional sounds of early rock to bring their music into the new millennium. Both musicians are successful on several instruments and have a great deal of experience in engineering, mixing and producing. Together they became DEFCON MONKEYS.
