DEFCON have exploded on the unsuspecting European scene like the musical H-bomb that they are ever since the band's formation in mid 2006! Two studio records and around 150 shows later, the six piece from Austria are getting ready to record their sophomore album in the summer of 2009!
This record will not only see the band producing hits together with TONI LOITSCH (of DIE TOTEN HOSEN, THE SORROW, RED LIGHTS FLASH, CALIBAN, SURFAHOLICS and ESTATE) at the infamous PRINCIPAL STUDIOS in Münster, Germany, but also take DEFCON in a new musical direction...
While the second album is nearing production status, their first full length NEON NIGHTS will be released in the UK through LOCKJAW RECORDS (Tribute To Nothing) in fall 2009 - followed by an extensive tour of Britain!
After receiving outstanding reviews in many of the biggest rock zines throughout Europe and massive airplay for their video to the single KING OF THE WORLD on European music channel GOTV, DEFCON are destined for a bright future with their sophomore release - stay tuned...
