Defekt is one of the rare anarcho/street punk bands that is currently active in Skopje, Macedonia, formed in 2002 by the vocalist and it’s ex-guitar player Aleksandar Petrusevski.The first damo came in 2002 as "Early Years(In Nature)containing 5 tracks.Although the band’s existence and music were pretty known on our punk scene, the frequent defects and changes in the band’s formation, had been the main reason why Defekt, as a group, had faced lot’s of problems in the past years and haven’t performed since 2007. But after a hard work during 2006 it appears that the vocalist and founder of the bend, Aleksandar Petrusevski, has found the perfect combination for his group and music. This resulted with lot’s of gigs in Macedonia, from the beginning of this year, where they played with almost every active punk bands from the country, including: Losi Deca, VEP Druzinata, Krpen Zivot, Outsiders, Zuta Patrola etc and other foreign bands like GBH, One way system, Vox Populi,No More Idils,Overflow (Viva La Pola),Disorder,SS-Kaliert etc.Defekt made a demo"Defekt-Early years-2002" But probably the biggest and most important step for the band this year was definitely the release of their first album called “Sezona na lov” which had great reviews and attracted lot’s of new fans.The album is consisted of 14 mainly pure anarcho/street punk songs, extremely diverse and dynamic which makes this release one of the best punk releases for this year in Macedonia. The band’s formation is .....In Jan. 2009 second album "Police State"came out.In this moment they are out on the streets!
