Defend New Orleans is not just a popular clothing brand, recently featured on The Ellen DeGeneres show. OK, it sort of was only that before the flood. Imbued with a new meaning post-Katrina, Defend New Orleans has garnered lots of success -- success we've been trying to share with the community. Money from the sale of Defend merchandise has aided Bridge House, Emergency Communities, Tipitinas Foundation, NORF, New Orleans Musicians Fund, Renew Our Music and Acorn among others. We've also been pairing out of town bands with local groups for fundraising events at places like Saturn Bar and throwing some of the best dance parties in town.
We will always believe in Defending New Orleans. It's a statement that meant as much in 2003 as it does now, and will continue to be important years in the future.
