About me:
The Allston/Brighton Neighborhood Assembly (ABNA) is a group of neighbors, local workers and allies dedicated to building a stronger, more democratic Allston/Brighton.
We are not affiliated with any political party, institution, corporation, or other special interest group, as these divide people rather than unite them.
We are all volunteers and entirely run on neighborhood participation, and we aim to keep it that way.
We believe that neighbors should decide what happens in their neighborhoods, not politicians, developers, and others who do not live or work in the community.
We operate on the concept of Direct Democracy, meaning that all people have an equal voice in the Assembly and the right to lead voluntarily by example.
