About Defender

Defender hail from Glasgow, Scotland, and are the premier Scottish tribute to the music of the late, great Rory Gallagher. Over several years, the band have gained a healthy reputation as a high octane live music experience, performing alongside such acts as Pat Travers, the Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Joe Bonamassa, Tony Joe White and the original Country Joe MacDonald Band. They have played all over the British Isles, toured Ireland and beyond.
