....It all started when Johnny and Fischer met over the internet. They quickly decided that they their idea of how death metal should sound was about the same, and thus, Defilementory was formed. Richardt later joined on drums, and after a bunch of material was written, the need for another guitarist arose, and Simon was recruited.
Mixing elements from both new and old, the band plays brutal and uncompromising death metal, going from fast paced complex riffage to breakneck downtempo grooves, while trying to maintain direction in compositions, keeping it musical so to speak. Songs are written as an entirety, not pieced together from all kinds of different riffs written the other night. Coherency is, in the opinion of the band, a lot more important than how fast you can sweep-tap or whatever.
Recordings are under way, a demo will be available in the not so distant future
