Peter LaRiviere (lead vocals, piano/guitar), Drew Carlson (lead guitar/vocals), Darren Batuik (bass/vocals), and Lucas Thiessen (rhythm guitar/vocals) have been doing things a little backwards since day one, but its been working very well thus far. Before ever stepping foot on a stage as Define The Line, they were hard at work in the studio writing and recording their Debut album, “The Victory”. Since it’s release, they played many successful shows locally beginning with YC2009 followed by a Western Canadian tour, landed a distribution deal across Canada, and hit the charts on the Christian Top Twenty, climbing to 13 with one of the album’s three singles “Anybody Out There”. They were the only independent Canadian band on the charts at the time. It’s been a busy and rewarding year for the four friends from Edmonton, Alberta, but they are not even close to slowing down yet. With a music video in production, new songs in the works, and eager plans for more touring, 2009 was just the beginning. 2010 promises many new and exciting things for this up and coming Canadian band.
