Today....September 17, 2008 a hole was cut into my heart. Today my beautiful nephew and godson Noel died. He was only 33 years young and was truly one of the sweetest humans to grace this planet. I do not understand why we have to bare this sorrow and live out our days without him. I do know that he is no longer in pain and that is a good thing......but pain lives on in all of us who loved him so much, especially my sister....the pain will go on. I wanted to share an image of Noel with you my friends. I want you to see the sweet, caring, sensitive young man that I loved. DK

Not much time for TV (I think we are the only people we know that don't have cable or satelitte) but when I do it's Lost, Survivor, House, Boston Legal, Star Trek (any), Scrubs and CSI Las Vegas, Malcomb In The Middle. When I had cable I loved Monk, Dead Like Me and the Sci Fi, Discovery, History and Travel Channel. But that was long ago.

I was recently laid off of my job of 19 years and I have been very busy re-inventing myself. I grew up in the theater and my father was a make-up artist. I decided that I would try my hand at face and body painting since it seems to come naturally for me. So far so good. I am happy and life goes on!
