Defuse: "In a world full of choices, in search of the truth."
Defuse is a Cross- over band from Rotterdam (The Netherlands), which was formed in the cold winter of 2001. With agression, passion and true emotions as important ingredients, they started to create their music and so a mixture of raw drums, complex bass-lines, powerfull guitar riffs and a destroying voice can be recognized in this day of age.

At the beginning of Defuse, the choice was made to find their own truth. With an urge to make music that was shaped in sound and born from total freedom, Defuse started a process where their passions kept growing.
With a legendary,powerfull and energetic first show in 2001 and the opportunity to be the support act for the famous Dutch band ‘Racoon’, several performances and competitions would follow. In 2006 they joined the international contest ‘Emergenza’ with the result that they became finalists and played in a sold-out venue: ‘The Melkweg’ in Amsterdam.
With the coming of their first EP: "To Create Infinity” (which came out in 2002), soon to be followed by the single: “Copy me” and a year later, the EP “A Mourningcard On Your First Birthday”, they forged their strengths to write their first full length album that will be released on 08.03.08 at Waterfront (Rotterdam)

Vrijdag 20 november speelt Firetime weer, in De Unie te Rotterdam, maarrrrr, veel nieuwe nummers. Ze zijn weer een nieuw pad ingeslagen, kom om te zien en horen waar dat pad toe leidt....
