We got together in January of 2003. By that time I (Dax) was a veteran of music related pursuits. I had played guitar since I nine, performed in bands, recorded, etc. Steve and Bryan on the other hand had never played an instrument in their lives.
How this came about was that a couple of months prior to January Steve was offered drum kit and bass for a very reasonable (CHEAP) price. He couldnt pass it up, and as soon as he could hold a beat, we jammed. Bryan happened to be hanging out with us a lot at that time, so we assigned him bass duties.
Much of our early repertoire was dictated by what we could actually play. After a couple years of stylistic limbo, we made a decision. WE WANT TO ROCK! Taking our cue from contemporary favorites The Darkness, we dredge deep into the classic sounds of rock n roll. A little AC/DC mixed with the sensibilities of a singer-songwriter. Its lighthearted, fun, timeless and unpretentious. Its De-Hydrated
