Julie Leblanc (de.i.te) or the woman who fell to earth.
Influences
Jean Cocteau was the one who originally said that "Film will only become art when its materials are as inexpensive as pencil and paper."
Coppola echoed the sentiment when he said "To me the great hope is that now these little video recorders are around and people who normally wouldn't make movies are going to be making them. And suddenly, one day some little fat girl in Ohio is going to be the new Mozart and make a beautiful film with her father's camcorder and for once, the so-called professionalism about movies will be destroyed, forever, and it will really become an art form."

Multidisciplinary artist creating in as many types of art as there is, I just let go... After my Max/MSP/jitter formation at studio XX, I saw new! . Now in each room of my creative world, there's a window opening. I currently work on electronic art, such as experimental music and video. My process .... objects or samples of objects, through improvisation and manipulation. Stay tuned!
Dangerously attracted by machines and research...more discovery, more connections, more pleasure.
"Esthetic and minimalist, that one Hi-8 plan sequence, sligthly manipulate through digital technology and merge with the soft naive guitar drones put us into another vision of nature. With a disarming simplicity, DE.I.TE combine standard filming language with new technologies, to create a poetry for the human eye and ears that reminds the magical beauty of the world that’s surrounds us.
Julie Leblanc, DE.I.TE is a multidisciplinary artist in experimental medias. With loops of objects and things from our ordinary world in low-fi images, such as mpeg movies, series of pictures captured with small digital cameras or old HI-8 video camera, DE.I.TE creates experimental videos improvisations in real-time. Surfing the images and layers of filters, with max/msp/jitter patches connected to a midi device she bring us in her lyrical world while her soft eclectic music compositions slowly gets into us. She currently works on video and sound interactive installation with a universal approach in order to question the creative process and stimulate introspection on our human condition."

Thx for the add, Julie! Your tracks are wonderfully consistent (restrained even, which seems to be so difficult for π-Dogx to achieve...). And your "ambient videos" are so dreamy! /Håkke
